THE SHOW:

The RockStar Experiment is just that…an experiment. Now before you go pre conceiving what the experiment is and what the results may or may not be you need to realize who the subjects of the experiment are. The subjects of this experiment are not only the contestants but also the American and International viewers. It’s an experiment to see if Rock Icons can be created and then instantly taken away to see if they can truly become Rock Legends.

That’s right, this experiment is not only the Contestants but the Viewers as well.

LOGLINE / THEMES:

Reality & Unannounced Fiction based, fantasy fulfillment, talent performance and products with plenty of the Dramedy. Similar to “American Idol” meets “Jackass” meets “Road Rules meets “Punk’d”. A cast of intense talented musicians with huge egos and eccentric qualities are grouped together to create the “First” “RockStar Experiment”.

CONTESTANTS / HOST:

Five male or female artists /musicians. One up and Coming Manager. One Major Producer. One RockStar Host. Special Guests and Actors.

DEMOGRAPHIC:

Ages 15 – 45 both male and female, all ethnicities.

TREATMENT:

Five Musicians to create the band, 1 Manager and 1 Producer will be cast. They will be chosen from multiple casting tryouts in 30 days set in the major tri states. They then will move into a high rise condo on South Beach. Why SoBe? Well because of the many distractions, crazy nightlife and lovely scenery of this town.

Once arriving they will have to complete an album in 30 days. They then will embark on a complete tour across the country from Miami to Los Angeles playing 30 shows in 30 days on a dingy tour bus with limited resources. Sometimes they will have to double and triple book shows to maintain the schedule. They will be also guided by a former notorious RockStar throughout their journey. Not to mention special guest RockStars and celebrity judges throughout the tour, with many insane RockStar challenges to be met along the way. If they complete The RockStar Experience Tour on schedule within the 30 days, they will be awarded a record contract and the deal / chance of a lifetime to open for one of the biggest bands in the world, across the pond, in Europe. But with the limited amount of resources and obstacles ahead… can they make it? They may have to beg, borrow and steal, or worse yet for a RockStar…..work to make their way.

ROCKSTAR HOST EXAMPLES:

Tommy Lee, Jack Black, Bret Michaels, Marilyn Manson, Gene Simmons, Blondie, David Lee Roth, Dave Navarro, Scott Weiland, Mick Jagger, Bjork, Morrissy, Slash, Bon Jovi, Simon LeBon, Adam Ant, David Grohl, Peaches, Mike Patton, David Allen Coe, Phil Collins, Axl Rose, Vince Neil, David Gahan, Jamie Lane, Liam Gallagher, Glen Danzig, David Bowie, Perry Ferrell.

ROCKSTAR CHALLENGE EXAMPLES:

Challenges will be created from the actual experiences of our special RockStar guests. These challenges will range from the dangerous to the outrageous. Some examples could be they have to ring up a certain amount of damage in a hotel room / say how many TV’s can be thrown out of the window in a given time period. They could have to make out with a certain number of groupies in a certain time. (ala The Pick Up Artist). Drink a certain amount of whiskey and crash into a cop car etc. (a staged cop car that is). Prizes could be anything from money, food, music equipment, a ride in a limo / plane to the next town… etc. Just Vip / RockStar treatment.

ADDITIONAL CHARACTERS:

We will create interesting unannounced scenarios including actors, relatives, former flames and disgruntled friends to make appearances along the way across the county for an even more bizarre journey.

ROCKSTAR 30 DAY TOUR:

They stop in every major metropolitan area and hold some kind of concert benefiting charities, with the local radio stations involved in the promotions. Along the way, they stop and eat peyote, have a bus breakdown, and kick one of the members out of the band and come face to face with crazy hill billies. They have attended Mardi Gras, Burning Man, and lost their ass in Vegas, etc. etc. Now by this time the American / International public has fallen in love / hate with the RockStars to be. They have laughed with them, cried with them, but mostly looked on in horror as these five unmanageable egos have ripped their living rooms a new @#%hole!

Women crave the wild easy eyed singer, Men live out their rock star fantasies vicariously with every episode, young adults are talking about it the next day at work / school. Everything seems to be working out OK for our young RockStars as they quickly win their way into the hearts and minds of the unsuspecting public.

Unsuspecting… yes because I remind you that the RockStar Experiment is not only an experiment on these five likeable or unlikable band members, it’s also on one major producer, one up and coming manager and a slew of RockStar Hosts / Judges. But what makes this show truly different is that the experiment is on the viewers at home as well.

The top secret ending of this show may be revealed with an N.D.A..

Let “The RockStar Experiment” begin…
